If there is no RM defaults database (e.g., after a new installation or after having deleted the old one), the user has the possibility to create a RM default database by importing one or more standards for materials and formulas provided by Bentley System, Incorporated.

Select one or more standards (mark with <SPACE>, <CTRL+>click, double-click,…) and confirm with OK. A RM default database will be created containing all selected materials and variables. This database is located in the same directory as the RM program itself.

The RM default database is opened automatically with the template definition for a new project (Defaults).

In order to change the standard database, open the database as a regular in RM project.
